NYC Service 15th Anniversary & Mayoral Service Recognition Ceremony 2024
On April 25, 2025, Chairman Dan Donovan attended the NYC Service 15th Anniversity & Mayoral Service Recognition Ceremony 2024. New York City Chief Service Officer Laura Rog honored more than 5000 volunteers from non-for-profit organizations and private sector businesses.
"The recognition program is a citywide celebration of volunteerism across sectors, underscoring the power of service to unite individuals and build a city where all New Yorkers can succeed. In recognition of the fifteen-year anniversary of NYC Service, Mayor Adams and Chief Service Officer Rog added the Spirit of the City award to recognize an individual volunteer for their service in addition to four other impact awards that honor organizations, businesses, and AmeriCorps alumni who have dedicated themselves to service and strengthened communities with people power in the previous calendar year.
The awardees were officially announced at Gracie Mansion during the NYC Service 15th Anniversary and Mayoral Service Recognition Ceremony. The impact awardees each also received a $500 cash award for exceptional service due to a generous contribution from the Fund for the City of New York."
